A Classroom Breakthrough
Danny Corsun has been a Chef-Educator since 2000 and is the founder of Culinary Life Academy. This innovative program enhances learning through cooking workshops for seniors and K-12 youth, regardless of their age.
In 2021, Chef Danny expanded his in-person workshops by launching a plug-and-play, Netflix-style digital platform, often referred to as “the master class for learning through cooking.” This platform brings empowering, dynamic and experiential content/curriculum to a global audience!
As a result of his extensive background as an educator, it was vital for Danny to make sure Culinary Life Academy could be used in ALL environments executed by educators and programming professionals ON-SITE, LIVE AND IN-PERSON!

In Senior communities where it is being utilized for Independent, Assisted and Memory Care populations as fun and educational social engagement as well and Occupational Therapy for fine and gross motor skills work!
- In K-12 classrooms! As he did in his own classroom, Danny and his team have made Culinary Life Academy's content and curriculum standards and grade level aligned – Making it a hugely valuable tool to introduce experiential learning to the classroom to achieve student and teacher goals for both neurotypical and neurodiverse students (making IEP goal achievement even more attainable for the latter).
- In all other adult learning environments as entertaining and meaningful programming!
- For Foundations and Philanthropic Organizations as a valuable and successful fundraising tool!
Culinary Life Academy believes that cooking is the experiential gateway to becoming your best self – All while learning an incredible life skill and improving one’s self-esteem through the preparation of delicious food! Chef Danny is dedicated to making this engaging, highly social, teaching tool accessible to seniors, youth, and young adults nation and worldwide.

Joining Danny in the Culinary Life Academy kitchen is his daughter, Chef Zoey. Zoey has been cooking with her dad since the age of three and is on track to become a Registered Dietician in her own right! Zoey connects well with our students and demonstrates that, regardless of age, anyone can succeed in the kitchen and take control of their own diet!
